Update History

Version 6.50:

  • This is the initial release.

Version 6.51:

  • The MatchAddCustomItems event did not occur if none of the saved entries matched the current text entered. The MatchAddCustomItems event now always occurs even if there are no matching saved entries.

  • Some of the samples in the documentation incorrectly used SftMaskLib60 instead of SftMaskLib65. The source files for the C# and VB.NET samples were from SftMask/OCX 6.0.

  • Visual Studio 2003 only: The OCXHelper control could not be added to a form and would result in error message "The .NET assembly 'Softelvdm.OCXHelper' could not be found".

  • Changing the AutoComplete.File property after the file has been opened for use had no effect.

Scheduled Product Updates

The following changes have been implemented and are currently available via hotfix (above) and will be available in the next version.

Version 6.52:

  • The SftMask.Alignment property only worked with formatted text (FormattedText property) and was ignored for the Text property.

  • When the control is just a bit wider than the content of the control (Text property) and the caption area is resized during form loading due to property settings, the text is truncated on the left, as if the text scrolled too far. Once the control receives the input focus, the contents are displayed correctly.
